Ideal for USB3.0, eSATA, DisplayPort and other High Speed Applications in Digital Consumer Electronics and PCs

California Micro Devices announced the PicoGuard CM1227, an ultra low capacitance electrostatic discharge (ESD) device for the latest digital consumer and computer applications. The CM1227 provides four channels of +/-15kV of contact ESD protection, exceeding IEC61000-4-2 level 4 standards.

Today’s latest digital consumer and computing applications such as digital TVs, set top boxes, PCs and PC peripherals are increasingly adopting advanced high speed serial interfaces such as USB3.0, MIPI(R), eSATA, DisplayPort and FireWire.

These low voltage signaling interfaces require very fast rise and fall times not normally achievable with ESD protection devices installed on the signal line because of capacitive loading. The CM1227, with an industry leading low capacitance level of 0.35pF, delivers both robust ESD protection and excellent signal integrity.

Based on CMD’s PicoGuard line of ESD protection products, the CM1227 combines industry leading performance with significant space and cost savings to deliver enhanced customer value for today’s most advanced digital consumer and PC designs.

Key Features

– Ultra low channel input capacitance (0.35pF)
– ESD protection for Transition Minimized Differential Signaling Channels
– Four channels of industry leading 15 kV contact discharge ESD protection per IEC61000-4-2 Level 4
– Channel input capacitance matching of 0.02pF (typ), ideal for differential signals

HDD Mechanic – the solution for any recovery problem!

Recovery Mechanic Labs has announced the release of a new powerful tool for data recovery. HDD Mechanic 1.3 is able to repair files of more than 150 extensions, providing their full preview before recovery. Thanks to the Power Search thorough scanning, it is possible to recover files from damaged, formatted and reformatted disks, after system crashes and virus attacks. A license key is valid for all further updates!

Given that no PC is secured against hardware or system malfunctions, human errors and software corruption, nobody is secured from data loss. The consequences can be deplorable, if the corrupt or deleted files contain significant information such as personal finance information. In case the lost data have not been properly backed up, HDD Mechanic 1.3 is a definite must-have. Why?

HDD Mechanic 1.3 is a high-end recovery tool with a clear, straightforward interface and a number of useful features. It can work with both FAT and NTFS file systems, including all their versions and revisions. The advanced algorithms ensure the recovery of files and folders, which have been deleted permanently, erased from the Recycle Bin, located on damaged, formatted and reformatted disks. HDD Mechanics can scan the whole disk or just a selected partition, arranging the recovered files in folders by extension. To ensure the safety of the data being recovered, HDD Mechanic 1.3 can save it to any local disk or removable media, as well as upload it to an FTP server.

If needed, the program can perform disk recovery: restore access to inaccessible disks by repairing the damages, unformat formatted ones and fix repartitioned drives. By the way, HDD Mechanics supports all kinds of disks and drives – desktop and mobile hard drives, flash memory sticks, memory cards, USB drives, even digital cameras and MP3 players (if connected to the computer).

As for novice users, they may not even know what is FAT or NTFS, but still, HDD Mechanic will be of great benefit for them: the option of fully automated recovery and the step-by-step wizard guarantee the successful recovery of data.

Before purchasing the license it is recommended to download the free demo and to test the high efficiency of HDD Mechanics. The Live Preview feature enables the user to view the data (office documents, images, video files, archives, etc.) repaired by the demo version, but a license key is required to save the recovered files.
